Dual Credit

Dual Credit Classes
Offered at Blair Oaks High School

For the 2017-2018 school year dual credit classes will be offered through State Technical College of Missouri and Central Methodist University.

State Tech will provide:

STCM classes will be taught on campus by STCM professors.
The cost for STCM courses is $96 per credit hour, payable to STCM.


Central Methodist will provide:

The cost of these classes is $80 per credit hour, payable to Central Methodist University. Payment for first semester classes is due the first week of school. Payment for second semester classes will be due the week prior to Christmas Break.

Remember, in order to take these classes  you must meet the GPA and ACT requirements for each class.

Enrollment forms for dual credit classes may be picked up in the counseling office and returned to the guidance office.  No payment is necessary until the first week of school.  Payment will be the responsibility of each student.

A list of textbooks needed for college classes may be picked up in the counseling office or accessed on this website. Textbooks can be purchased by any means, i.e. other students who have taken the class, various textbook websites, the college bookstore, or local bookstores.  

This is a great opportunity for your child to be able to take these classes and we urge you to consider it. Central Methodist University and State Technical College of Missouri encourages any prospective student to check with the college/university that he/she may attend in the future regarding transferability prior to enrolling in any course.
