PowerSchool Parent Portal

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is available to parents/guardians by logging in from the Blair Oaks R-II School District's website. Please click the following link to view instructions for the accessing the Parent Portal. 

Note: Student Access ID and Password will be provided by the high school office.

PowerSchool Smart Phone App

Smart Phone users can download a "PowerSchool for Parents" app from the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play. The school code required by the app is ZBSR. You will also need the log-in name and password from your PowerSchool Parental Portal account (instructions above). The app is a neat tool available for your use.

School Messenger
 

Blair Oaks uses School Messenger to send time sensitive group notifications of school cancellations and other relevant information. You manage which phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and text numbers are contacted through an application within the parent portal called Contact Manager.

To access Contact Manager, log-on to PowerSchool, then:

• Click on Account Preferences
• Find the upward pointing arrow in the top right corner of the screen (near the print icon) and click.
• Click on Contact Manager
• System will show messages sent in last 30 days. Click the word Contacts next to the word Messages.
• Click the Edit icon in the Actions column. Edit preferences for each child.
• Enter phone numbers, email addresses and mobile numbers for text messaging.
• Be sure to Save when finished.
